Dogmire Village
Dogmire Village is the northernmost village in the Ravenclove Plains. It is unusually close to another village in Sothlin Province, Ironwax Village. The plans for villages decided by the Resettlement Decree spaced them out to serve certain areas of the Province. It sits on the road between Ironwax and Fort Alebog, just to the west of a bridge leading out of Sothlin into Herder Province. Dogmire serves as a central hub for travelers going to or from any of those places. As such, the village does not focus on any particular industry or resources. Although, there are several farms to the south that bring their crops to market here.
History
Founded by the Resettlement Decree on 1931-04-03.

Businesses
Alebog Inn and Tavern: This establishment is owned and operated by officers from Fort Alebog. They exclusively serve soldiers and officers traveling to or from the fort.
Alebog Supplies: a general store catering to military clients. They supply all of the food and equipment needed by the fort. The business is owned and operated by officers from Fort Alebog. See Hillraven Sundry Supplies for more info about this establishment.
Hillraven Sundry Goods: a general store stocking all of the various items one might need. The owner of the shop, Skull Hillraven, has 14 cats that live at the shop. They are all quite friendly and keep the place free from vermin. His shop is enormous, to account for all of the locals, as well as people passing through the village. Skull controls deliveries coming to Dogmire through some nefarious means (or so it is rumored). He has such a stranglehold on deliveries that even Alebog Supplies is forced to buy their wares from him. As such, their prices are higher than Hillraven’s, but the soldiers are not permitted to shop there. There is a black market for soldiers and officers. It is an actual location north of the village. Alebog Supplies is not profitable, but the law requires them to stay in business. It is a tricky situation that nobody cares for, except for Skull Hillraven. His grip extends to traveler’s goods too. Most villages have separate shops for general goods and traveler goods. Skull has bribed the right people to prevent this from happening in Dogmire. Ironbell Inn: This inn serves the travelers stopping in Dogmire Village. The building used to be a bell foundry many, many years ago. The village was built up around the foundry on order of the Resettlement Decree. There are no bells on the premises. But some patrons claim to be awakened by the deep tolling of a large bell. It does not happen every night. In fact, it seems to be completely random.
Majesty Wagons: There are wagon makers in every settlement. But Majesty Wagons is the largest and most profitable wagon maker in the province. Dogmire is an important part of trade in and out of the Province. Wagons built here are easily the most resplendent and long lasting. They also craft coaches and carriages. The well-off folks of Sothlin City travel north to Dogmire to commission a unique coach to show off in the city.
Snailgourd Tavern: this public tavern serves the local population as well as any people passing through town. They boast a large selection of wines imported from all over Linomnount. Notable Locations
Warehouse District: As a travel hub, Dogmire also serves as a central commerce area that houses and ships wares from around the province. Their warehouse district is quite sizable for a village.
