The Deities of Weaverism 1: Supernal Law

I shall write the names of the gods
but these names can never be spoken
and so I shall write of their use names,
their responsibilities and their
governances.

The gods and their Children each have
their own duties, tasks they are responsible for
that allow the World Machinery to operate
properly and thus allowing the People to live
their lives.

Aside from their responsibilities,
each Child is assigned governances,
the aspects of life in the Living World
that affects each Person in ways great and small
suffering or splendor.

The mother and father of the world
gave these governances to their Children
for the Span of Cruelty was a time
when the Children tormented the People
unjustly.

The father and mother set their Children
on the Path of Weft, Supernal Laws
to which each deity must adhere in their work
of responsibility and governance
not unlike Fate.

We People of the Living World
are encouraged to pray to the Children
at times of need and times of plenty
at times of strife and times of splendor
as the Children serve us.

The mother and father set for the People
the Rite of Mandate, Supernal Law
to which each person must adhere in their work
of life, love, family, strife, war and death
as is our Fate.
