Billet and Vilerend obtained
all things that they had sought,
items needed to forge the
Soul Hammer, dearly bought.
Such death they left in their wake
dragon, Darkling, demon.
They departed from Twigstar
leaving with rising sun.
They traveled the road northward
towards Shatterbone village.
Though they were victorious
they felt akin to pillage.
Once returned to Tong’s great hall,
they spoke of recent strife:
meeting Unbe, Marshall’s death,
giant and Darkling knife.
Tong took the knife and metal
to give to his blacksmith,
who will use these to forge a
Hammer of Souls forthwith.
Keeper of Lore entered then
clad in her human guise.
She had gained information
when she last flew the skies.
“You may remember
that I fought wizards
outside of my home.”
“They revealed to me
that they belonged to
Quickstream’s Stormcraft cult.”
“I surmised that they
originated
from Stormcraft Village.”
“I flew to Stormcraft
and witnessed
other cultists there.”
“More importantly,
I saw Fern Quickstream.
She is there right now.”
