The Demon Plague Verses Chapter 8, Part 3
They beheld Icebrunt below,
the land that they wandered.
They now had strict direction
no more would they maunder.
They departed Shatterbone,
Halfdead River below,
passing the Catfeather Heights
tall hills still bearing snow.
Coalglen ‘twixt Halfdead River
and hoary Greentail Hills,
a bustling village, below
the river’s founding rills.
They traversed the small river
as it seemed, far below.
Approaching Barleyburr Hills,
within, Lake Slowmelt glowed.
Beyond the hilly circle,
upon escarpment’s edge,
Stormcraft Village resided
ringed by tall, prickly hedge.
The dragon deposited
Vilerend and Billet there
upon stronghold tower top
whose breaching they would dare.
They broke into the stronghold
and slew so many foes.
Fern Quickstream and her Key Sphere
were where they sought to go.
They soon found their enemy
upon her gem clad throne.
She ruled Stormcraft Village horde
yet here, she sat alone.
Fern slapped her hands on the throne
her face shadowed by glower.
She spoke in a low whisper
intensity gave it power.
